Besides my full time finance job, looking after my family and Lockspedia, I still find time to pursue small side projects. These side projects pique my interest and keep me sharp between the ears.
The purpose of sharing these side projects with you all is to create social pressure on myself; that ultimately I will word hard and all these projects will see light of the day. So here is my list for 2023.
- Locksmith Directory: I have realized that lock picking is still an enthusiast hobby and it can’t help people in need. When people get stuck in tricky situations, they need real locksmiths. While I am not one but I can help people find real and honest locksmiths in their neighborhood. I understand that this is going to be a tough task but with some help from my tech friends, I hope to see this live in 2023.
- Directory of Hardware Stores: As surprising as it may sound but I have got tons of requests asking for places where locks can be purchased from. I mean with Walmarts, Lowes of the world, people still want more options. And if I can help them find neighborhood hardware stores, then it would make me really happy.
- Smart Locks: I have been a traditional guy when it comes to lock-picking. Though I have used Schlage and Kwikset myself but my knowledge of smart locks world at large is still not up to the mark. So I will be ordering a few different models and brands and will play with them to become better aware.
